谈起『情人』这部具有异域风情的电影，我又不得不想起法兰西在殖民时期为越南留下的各种文明与痕迹——从法式建筑风格，到凡到越南必尝的越式法国面包（Banh Mi）；以及堤岸（越南语 Chợ Lớn，英译Cholon）这个昔日的富庶之地如今被唤为『中国城』（Chinatown），还有飘洋过海来此经商或工作，并最终落地生根的越南华人。
